Unfortunately, Metro Vancouver restaurant closures show no sign of stopping. This time, bubble tea shop Pause n’ Sip has announced that it will be closing its doors.
“It’s with a heavy heart that we share this with you; we have made the difficult decision to close our Richmond location,” shared the boba shop.
Pause n’ Sip opened in November 2022 and was best known for its fresh fruit and bubble teas, as well as Yakult drinks and other specials.
Pause n’ Sip shared that the reason it’s closing is because “the team feels it’s time to take a step back to contemplate the next step and future direction for Pause n’ Sip,” and added that it hopes not to be gone for too long.
“We can’t thank you all enough for all the wonderful support and inspiration over the last two years — we may not know your names individually, but you have definitely made a difference for Pause n’ Sip!” added the bubble tea spot.
Its final day of service will be January 15.
