A collision just south of the border caused major delays for people travelling home from the States this holiday Monday.
All lanes of the I-5 northbound were blocked by a major crash around 236 Street near Arlington, Washington around 1:30 p.m.
While the collision was cleared around 4 p.m., the incident forced a backup longer than 10 kilometres to form, making it difficult for British Columbians trying to get home from cities like Seattle.
Travelers are being encouraged to take the SR-53 as an alternate route, or be patient as the congestion slowly clears.
