Canada’s magical CP Holiday Train is making its way across the country to BC, and local fans of all ages will soon get to see it in person near Vancouver.
The 26th edition of the Holiday Train is making several highly anticipated stops in Metro Vancouver on Thursday, December 19 and Friday, December 20.
A massive, brightly decorated train will bring holiday cheer to the region while collecting money, food, and awareness for food banks.
One CP Holiday Train travels exclusively through Canada, while the other makes stops in both Canada and the US. The tour will visit over 160 communities during the four-week run.
The magical train will be chugging through 16 communities in BC this month, including Maple Ridge, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows, and Port Coquitlam.
Attendees at each CP Holiday Train stop will also enjoy a free and festive concert by Juno winners Magic! and fast-rising star Sofia Camara.
The first Lower Mainland stop is in Agassiz on December 19 from 5:45 to 6:15 pm at Agra Center Pioneer Avenue and Pioneer Road.
It will then head to Maple Ridge the same evening, with the train arriving at 8 pm across from the Billy Miner Pub at 22355 River Road.
The Canadian Holiday Train will then head to Pitt Meadows to wrap up the night for a 9:05 pm arrival and a festive concert at Harris Road and Advent Road.
On December 20, the decked-out train will visit Port Moody, stopping in Trasolini field behind the Port Moody Recreation Complex at 300 Ioco Road at 5:45 pm.
The whole cross-country rail tour wraps up with a final festive party in Port Coquitlam at Kingsway Avenue between Mary Hill Road & Wilson Avenue at 7:15 pm.
Invite your family and friends to celebrate the holidays with the best locomotive around. Be sure to bring donations for the local food bank to help those in need.
