The Government of Canada is hiring a library manager in BC, which pays up to $107,222. Applicants would be required to manage a physical library and print collections. To be qualified, you need to have a Master’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science. The deadline for applying for this position is November 15.
If you have a background in IT, the Canadian government is looking to add folks to its IT-03 infrastructure operations pool. The position pays up to $123,137 annually. The deadline to apply is November 14.
Canada is also looking for folks with a background in nursing. Applicants must have an occupational certification as a registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse in Canada. The roles pay up to $92,653, with a note that an increase is coming. There’s also a $4,500 per year terminable allowance and a $2,000 correctional service-specific duty allowance.
Folks who might have graduated with a post-secondary degree in science might also want to look at this job opening for the operations team. The team has positions available in offices around the country, including Vancouver. The pay is up to $118,614 per year.
Some positions don’t require degrees or certification, like the administrative assistant position, which pays up to $67,699 annually. If you can handle high-stress situations, there are also positions for 911 dispatchers through the BC RCMP, and the pay range is up to $78,190 per year.
