Air Canada has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Montreal, Quebec down to $256 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
You can also find vice-versa flights (Montreal to Vancouver) for a similar roundtrip price.
Weekend trips are available (Thursday/Friday to Sunday/Monday).
A few Vancouver-Ottawa flights are available in late August for $286 CAD roundtrip (Update: These are now $338).

How to find and book this deal
1. Start with the following Google Flights search:
Google Flights: Vancouver to Montreal (Nonstop flights)
Google Flights: Vancouver to Ottawa (Nonstop flights)
– Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view.
– Browse for the cheapest dates by adjusting the trip length at the bottom.
– Look for the dates that are $256 roundtrip.
2. Go to FlightHub or Skyscanner or Kayak
3. Search for a flight from Vancouver (YVR) to Montreal (YUL)
– Try the same dates you found on Google Flights.
