Vancouver is about to get a massive zipline over the waterfront and it looks wild

Vancouver’s waterfront just got a little more fun, with the addition of a zipline that will take you soaring above the water in front of Canada Place.

The adrenaline pumping activity is going to be opening up this month for people to try out, and running for a week as a part of the 2024 Grey Cup Festival — which is taking place from November 10 to 17.

The annual sporting event is going all out with free concerts, two ziplines, and parties. As part of the festival, you can fly through the air on one of the two ziplines that they’re setting up.

One will take you soaring above the water from Convention Centre East to Convention Centre West. The other will give you a street view, right in front of the Convention Centre buildings.

The massive street festival is going to happen from November 13 to 16 on Canada Place Way and seems like it’s going to be a huge party. Think food trucks, mini football fields and concerts at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

“Featuring two ziplines, immersive football experiences, legendary parties, cultural displays, and thrilling performances from a diverse lineup of entertainers—plus so much more yet to be announced—the 2024 edition is shaping up to be one Grey Cup Festival fans truly cannot miss,” the website said.

On top of all of the festival excitement there’s the actual game on Sunday November 17, and the Jonas Brothers are going to be the haltime show for it.

Get ready, because there is lots of excitement and CFL fans about to come to the city!
