A couple of water parks in Metro Vancouver are hiring for a bunch of summer jobs.
Whether you’re looking for part-time or full-time work this summer, these parks are offering both as well as some cool perks.
From lifeguards to food services and attendants for rides, these are the various jobs you can apply for at Cultus Lake Waterpark and Big Splash Water Side Park.
Cultus Lake Waterpark summer jobs
Cultus Lake Waterpark has 12 different positions you can apply for.
The park in Cultus Lake is looking to fill roles at both its Adventure Park and its Waterpark.
The waterpark positions include water safety, guest services, food services, park patrol, parking lot, grounds keeping and janitorial.
As for the adventure park roles those include rides and attractions, customer service and park facilities.
The Cultus Lake Waterpark says it provides over 300 jobs to high school and university students every year. It says working there is a great summer job because of its fun work environment, the opportunity to work with friends, great pay and scheduling and opportunities for growth within the business.
Another benefit of working at the theme park is the cool perks it comes with like discounts, free admission and staff parties.
The website says the starting pay is $17.50 an hour or more. No certifications are required to apply as all on-the-job training is provided.

Big Splash Water Slide Park summer jobs
Big Splash Water Slide Park in Tsawwassen is also hiring part-time and full-time employees for the summer.
These positions include tower guards, lifeguards (NL certificate required), guest services, food and beverage positions and more! Some roles require certain certificates or previous experience, while others do not.
You can apply on-site at the water slide park on May 3 and 10 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. or May 4 and 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The park’s opening date for the 2024 season is June 29.
