The ‘largest haunt in Western Canada’ is happening in Vancouver and there’s 8 haunted houses

Spooky season is well underway and Vancouverites can count themselves lucky because right in the city is the ‘largest haunt in Western Canada’ and it looks spine-chilling.

Fight Nights at Playland is dubbed “Vancouver’s scariest Halloween experience,” and it looks like it’s delivering on that. The eight haunted houses here are crawling with scare actors ready to give you a jump, and you can brave a visit on select nights throughout the month of October.

On top of the haunted houses, there are rides and other festivities that you can enjoy. All in all, it makes for the perfect night out with friends or a date night.

The haunts this year sound especially eerie, with names like The Void, Carn-Evil, Fear, Darkness, Kepepers Dool Factory, The Bloodshed, Darkness, Mareria Medica, Trails of the Night and Fizz Death Circuit.

After walking through the haunted houses you can keep your heart rate high by going on one of the rides, which are included with your admission. The ThunderVolt is here and it’s Canada’s fastest electric launch coaster — so get ready for another scream.

They also have Halloween foods like Zombie Fingers and Walking Death Tacos. If those don’t sound particularly appetizing you can also go for the mini hot dogs, pumpkin donuts, or a hot chocolate.

Fright Nights is open on October 10,13, 17, 20 with an admission cost of $51. You can also visit on October 11, 12, 18, 19, and the 24-31 for $61. You can buy tickets of the Fright Nights website.
