‘Canada’s best sunset spots’ were revealed and two Vancouver restaurants made the cut

Patio drinks are a key part of summer fun in Vancouver, and finding somewhere with a sunset view levels up the night that much more. Two Metro Vancouver restaurants made it onto a ranking of “Canada’s best sunset spots” and are the perfect happy hour destinations for this season.

The list was compiled by Corona Canada and named 14 Canadian restaurants, making up the National “Sunset Spots” guide. From coast to coast these bars and restaurants were shouted out for their breathtaking evening views.

From rooftop bars in the city to waterside retreats, there’s a little something for every patio lover out there.

Luckily for the West Coasters out there, two spots in the Vancouver area made it to the list.

The first Vancouver spot was Mahony’s Tavern, where you can sip with the backdrop of the ocean and mountains as the sun goes down. This spot is known for its patio and casual pub food, and they even have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. They also have a happy hour from 9 p.m. until close, so you can get a deal while enjoying the sunset.

Next up for Vancouver on the list was The Boathouse, in White Rock. This small city is about 40 minutes from Downtown Vancouver, but still in the area and worth the drive for the view.

Right on the ocean, the patio offers up a stunning scene, and after dinner here you can walk out onto Canada’s longest pier.

This spot is known for its fresh seafood and west coast menu, and they have a happy hour on weekdays, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Cheers!
