Explore and learn about history, architecture, and design with the Vancouver Heritage House Tour on this popular self-guided tour on June 1, 2024. The Vancouver Heritage Foundation offers a peek inside a selection of eight unique heritage properties in Arbutus Ridge, Kerrisdale, and Marpole.
Vancouver Heritage House Tour 2024
- Date: Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 10:00am to 5:00pm
- Location: Various heritage homes across neighbourhoods of Arbutus Ridge, Kerrisdale, and Marpole
- Tickets: Available for purchase online. Tickets must be picked up at the Vancouver Heritage Foundation office (3102 Main St, Vancouver) on select dates or on the event date at the Info Booth in Kerrisdale. Tickets purchased before May 23, 2024 can be shipped for an additional cost.
- All tickets include a guidebook which can be mailed for an additional fee or picked up with tickets.
In Arbutus Ridge, visit a 1913 Arts and Crafts church, and then a Dutch Colonial Revival home in Marpole. Kerrisdale homes include a Mid-Century modern house, and a 1925 Tudor Revival Style house. Take a peek inside these select unique heritage properties to learn more about their history, architecture, and design from volunteers onsite at each stop.
Ticket holders also receive a guidebook full of historical information about each site. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore other lesser-known spaces that have shaped each neighbourhood, as well as connect with local businesses and community organizations.
This tour can be enjoyed on foot, by bike or by transit. Parking information will also be provided for drivers.
