Every November 11, Canadians across the country take the day to pay their respect to fallen soldiers for Remembrance Day.
There are several Remembrance Day events in and around Vancouver, with thoughtful ceremonies, moving parades, receptions, and more.
However, the important ceremonies also mean multiple road closures across the region, with commuters being warned that traffic will be impacted in several cities.
There are many businesses that will be closed for the day on November 11, and we’ve rounded up a list of what is open and closed on Remembrance Day 2024.
