The Kansas City Chiefs appear to have a lot of support from NFL fans north of the border.
NFL Canada has revealed which teams led in 2024 jersey sales for each province. There were five teams in total that made their way onto the map, with the Chiefs leading the way.
This past year, the Chiefs had the most jersey sales in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Buffalo Bills also had plenty of representation, as they led in jersey sales in Yukon and Ontario. Seeing Ontario be a heavy supporter of the Bills comes as no surprise, given how close the province is located to Buffalo.
Speaking of teams in close proximity to Canadian provinces, the Seattle Seahawks led in jersey sales in British Columbia. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears led the way in the Northwest Territories, while Detroit Lions jerseys were the number one seller in Nunavut.
As for specific players, Patrick Mahomes was the top jersey sold in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Not to be outdone, Josh Allen also led five provinces in Yukon, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island.
Perhaps due partly to his highly-publicized relationship with Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce had the top-selling jersey in Manitoba and the Northwest Territories. Rounding out the list was Lions linebacker Jack Campbell, who had the most jersey sales in Nunavut.
Following last weekend’s wild-card round, eight teams remain in the hunt for a Super Bowl, three of which were on the list above. Those teams are the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, LA Rams, Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, and Baltimore Ravens.
