Christmas is less than two weeks away, and if you’re looking for some last-minute decorating ideas, Facebook Marketplace has tons of weird items for sale around Vancouver, like ornaments and other random holiday gear.
One of the weirdest things we saw when perusing the marketplace listings with “Christmas” as our search term was the Picoloas Cage ornament, an incredibly phallic-looking decoration that, of course, resembles Nicolas Cage. Click here to watch Picolas swinging around.
Surprisingly, multiple people were selling Picolas Cage ornaments for up to $25 and as low as $6.
Taylor Swift recently left her mark in Vancouver, and there is no shortage of listings of ornaments for sale that would be perfect for the Swifties in the city.
One ornament for sale that seems pretty neat is this Johnny Cash mini-vinyl player. It apparently plays a few songs when you press its buttons.
Another neat ornament is this old-school TV decoration for Hockey Night in Canada. According to the listing, it was an officially licensed CBC product.
There are also a few, shall we say, controversial Christmas items for sale on Marketplace, like this ornament that says “the Grinch who stole Christmas” featuring a picture of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
It’s not just weird ornaments you can pick up on Facebook Marketplace around Vancouver.
Not to be outdone by the Trudeau ornament regarding political items, someone is selling a “Make Christmas Great Again” sweater featuring a cartoonish grim-faced picture of Donald Trump wearing a Santa hat.
Do you need a life-size dancing Santa at your Christmas gatherings? Well, a seller in North Vancouver has you covered.
What was your favourite of these items? Is there another item you’ve found on Marketplace during your holiday shopping? Let us know in the comments. We’d also love to know how you feel about Picolas Cage.
