Vancouver partygoers got the surprise of a lifetime at the Cambie bar last night after Canadian icons Tegan and Sara showed up at a Felix Cartal pop-up.
Cartal has been doing these surprise pop-up shows all over Vancouver over the past year, but last night was special, which has left many residents upset they weren’t there.
Tegan and Sara were apparently having a great time performing with Cartal, and based on videos circulating on social media, it looked like people at the Cambie also had the time of their lives.
Last night’s event was a good reminder to follow Cartal on Instagram. He shared that Tegan and Sara would appear with him at the Cambie in his stories. The event was completely free.
Cartal wrote that he premiered his new song with Tegan and Sara last night.

If nothing else, last night at the Cambie was quite the argument against the notion of Vancouver being “no fun city.”
