“Steele and Vance” to come to an end after two seasons on CHEK

After two seasons of Steele and Vance, the hit CHEK show is coming to an end.

In a tweet, co-host Lynda Steele thanked fans for watching over the past two seasons and added, “I’m excited about new adventures ahead!”

It was nearly two years ago to the date that we learned about the show that paired legendary broadcasters Jody Vance and Steele.

“Jody and I are so excited to be joining the CHEK team! It’s going to be a buckle your seat belt – no holds barred – unfiltered, fun and feisty hour of TV,” Steele told Daily Hive at the time.

Both broadcasters and media personalities brought an unrivalled suite of experience to the program, which immediately caught viewers’ attention.

Steele has been in the media industry for more than 35 years, and her career has spanned several networks, including Global, CTV, CBC, and Corus.

Vance has also spent decades on TV and radio across the country. She was also the first woman in the history of Canadian television to host her own prime-time sports show.

It’s unclear what’s next for the two former co-hosts, but the last episode of Steele and Vance airs tonight at 8 pm.
