One lucky lottery player woke up a million dollars richer after a successful Lotto 6/49 draw.
While no one won the Gold Ball jackpot of $32 million, there were plenty of other wins to celebrate.
The 12th White Ball was drawn, blessing a lottery player from Calgary with a $1 million windfall, according to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC). They matched the winning numbers 31765145-01.
The winning numbers for the Classic Draw prize were 12, 13, 21, 24, 46, 49, and bonus 15.
Sadly, no one won the $5 million jackpot, but another player from Alberta did match five out of six numbers, including the bonus. Someone from Edmonton is taking home the second prize of $199,959.00.
The winning numbers for the Classic Draw Extra prize were 12, 33, 39, and 43.
No one nabbed the $500,000 lottery jackpot, but 31 Canadians did match three of four numbers, taking home a modest $1,000.
If you didn’t beat the odds this time around, the next Lotto 6/49 draw is on Saturday, November 23. The jackpot increases to $34 million with 18 balls left, which means a higher chance of snatching that gold ball.
Makes sure to check your lottery tickets from earlier this week, too. Several Canadian players became instant millionaires after the Lotto Max draw on Tuesday.
All eyes were on the whopping $70 million jackpot. One person managed to match six of the seven winning numbers and the bonus number, netting themselves an impressive second prize worth $262,326.60.
At the time of the draw, 10 Maxmillions prizes were up for grabs, and four Canadians won big.
No one won the $500,000 Lotto Max Extra or the Encore prize worth $1 million.
The next Lotto Max draw is set for Friday, November 2. The jackpot has now climbed to $75 million, and there are now 12 Maxmillions prizes to be won.
