The Sedin twins are headlining a group of Vancouver Canucks signing autographs in Langley next week.
The Langley Events Centre is hosting the Western Canada Sports Collectors Convention, which will feature some notable Canucks making appearances across the weekend.
The event runs from November 15 to 17 and will feature Daniel and Henrik Sedin, former goalie Richard Brodeur, and current players J.T. Miller and Conor Garland signing autographs at different times.
The full schedule for when the players will be available is as follows.
- J.T. Miller – 3 pm to 4 pm on November 15
- Conor Garland – 5 pm to 6 pm on November 15
- Sedin twins – 1 pm to 3 pm on November 16
- Richard Brodeur – 12 pm to 1 pm on November 17
It’s a star-studded list of Canucks from past and present. More big names from the team have signed autographs at the event in the past, including Todd Bertuzzi last year.
Tickets to the signings are available online now on the event website. You can purchase different memorabilia to get signed on the website as well.
The Sedin twins are two of the most iconic players in team history. The brothers combined for more than 2,000 points in Canucks colours and helped the team reach the Stanley Cup Final in 2011.
They both now work for the team in a coaching and player development role.
Brodeau was also a major piece on a Canucks team that went to the Stanley Cup. He helped the team to the 1982 Stanley Cup Final, where they lost to the New York Islanders. “King Richard” finished that postseason run with a 2.70 goals-against average and a .917% save percentage.
The franchise legends will be joined by Miller and Garland, who are two of the most popular players on the team right now. Both are big reasons why the Canucks have raced out to a strong start this season.
Besides the signings, the convention will feature 300 vendors selling trading cards and other memorabilia. Tickets for the show cost $20 for the first two days, while Sunday is free.
