“The caller reported a man had stolen alcohol and was armed with a knife inside the restaurant.”
Officers immediately responded, later locating the suspect inside a 7-Eleven. Police shot the suspect and took him into custody. Officers and first responders administered first aid to the suspect, who was taken to hospital and later died.
The two people who were injured in the stabbing were also taken to hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
