The Juno Awards are returning to Vancouver next year for the first time since 2018, and one of the country’s greatest music superstars is taking the reins as host.
The 54th Annual Juno Awards will take place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Rogers Arena, presented by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS).
Canada’s largest celebration of music includes festivities across the city, a Canadian Music Hall of Fame induction, and Michael Bublé hosting and performing during the star-studded event.
Vancouver’s own Bublé is a 15-time Juno Award winner who returns for a third time as host of the country’s biggest night in music.
“I could not be happier bringing The Juno Awards home to Vancouver for 2025,” said Bublé. “The Junos are such an important part of the Canadian music industry, and being able to host for the second time in my hometown makes this night mean even more to me.
“I’m excited to be surrounded by all the amazing talent we have from coast to coast this March.”
The 2025 Juno Awards Broadcast can be seen live on March 30 at 8 pm ET, 5 pm PT on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, CBC Listen, and around the world at cbcmusic.ca/junos and CBC Music’s YouTube page.
This is just the fifth time Vancouver has hosted Canada’s biggest night in music in its over 50-year history. Luminaries such as Shania Twain, Russell Peters and Jason Priestley have hosted past Juno Awards at Rogers Arena and the former General Motors Place.
The Juno Awards will also induct Canadian pop punk rock legends Sum 41 into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame during a special presentation. The live broadcast performance is also set to be the group’s last.
“We’re excited to be back at the Junos and to receive this recognition,” said Sum 41. “We’ve come so far as a band since we first started and we look forward to celebrating in Vancouver with our fans and fellow Canadian artists.”
Live Nation Canada’s Riley O’Connor will also be presented with the Walt Grealis Special Achievement Award during the Juno Awards Gala.
The fun continues with JunoFest presented by CBC Music during Juno weekend. The two-day music festival will take over 10 venues across Vancouver with local musical talent and 2025 Juno Award nominees. Artists who want to be considered for a performance slot can apply online.
The TD pre-sale for The 2025 JUNO Awards Broadcast takes place from Monday, November 25 at 10 am PT until Wednesday, November 27th. Tickets to The 2025 JUNO Awards will go on sale to the general public starting on Friday, November 29th.
