There are still tickets to be had for the 111th Grey Cup at BC Place this weekend.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Toronto Argonauts will kick off the CFL’s championship game at 3 pm PT on Sunday, with the Jonas Brothers performing at halftime. It’s the first time Vancouver has hosted the Grey Cup in 10 years.
Grey Cup organizers last updated attendance 10 days ago, saying that only approximately 5,000 seats remained unsold. BC Place has a seating capacity of about 54,500 for football.
Here’s a look at the current status of ticket sales on Ticketmaster, with the blue dots representing available seats.
The lower bowl is practically sold out, with very few pairs of seats remaining. Seats in the lower bowl are available for as low as $313. The most expensive seat left in the building is $1,074.25, for row 2 seats in section 238.
There are many more options in the upper bowl, with tickets available for as low as $128.20. The highest price for an upper bowl seat is $391.75, at centre field.
The last time Vancouver hosted the Grey Cup was in 2014, when attendance came in at 52,056. BC Place drew 54,313 fans in 2011, the year the hometown BC Lions won the championship.
