Get excited, Vancouver: a new deli is joining the list of highly anticipated eateries coming to Vancouver, and it’s from the same team that brought us the now-closed Omnitsky.
For those unfamiliar, Omnitsky was a deli at 5775 Oak Street specializing in kosher products like Montreal smoked meat and tasty dine-in options like plated breakfast, sandwiches, and its much-loved matzo ball soup. It closed its doors in October 2024.
Now, signs for a new concept by the same team called Reuben’s Deli have popped up at 3435 Fraser Street, Vancouver.

Not much is known about Reuben’s Deli, but we assume it will offer the same great kosher products and tasty dine-in options.
Although an opening date for this new location has yet to be announced, Dished contacted Omnitsky for more details.
