The Toronto Argonauts may have upset the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to win the 111th Grey Cup on Sunday, but there’s another champion still waiting to be crowned — and they might not even know it.
The BC Lions, who hosted the big game at BC Place in Vancouver, are still looking for the winner of a massive 50/50 draw. According to festival organizers, the lucky ticket was purchased at the stadium. But as of Monday morning, the prize — an eye-popping $434,405 — remains unclaimed.

This year’s Grey Cup jackpot was a record-breaker, with the total pot hitting a whopping $860,810, marking a huge boost from the Lions’ biggest payout of the regular season, which was just over $67,000.
Grey Cup 50/50 tickets were sold at five for $10, 30 for $20, 100 for $40, and 350 for $100, with proceeds benefiting Amateur Football in British Columbia.
The winning number (GC-8613017) was announced at the end of the game and posted online shortly after.
So, if you bought a ticket, now’s the time to dig through your wallet, purse, or pockets as organizers are urging fans to double-check their numbers.
