Taylor Swift’s epic trio of Vancouver shows may be in the rearview mirror, but her impact on the city will continue to shine during the holiday season.
Destination Downtown has announced that the 13 Taylor Swift lyrics in life-sized letters around the city will be transformed for the 12 Days of Christmas with holiday words.
So, if you’re thinking that “Christmas must be something more,” bundle up in your favourite cardigan and track down these illuminated photo ops.

“It may be the end of an Era for the Taylor Swift-themed lighting installations but Destination Downtown has more holiday fun in store for visitors and Vancouverites,” organizers added in a release.
Many of the massive holiday words like “Wreath” and “Star” can be found in the locations of the previous Swiftie lyrics around Vancouver. And visiting all of them can help score you a “Vancouver Stay & Play” prize package.

There will also be festive lighting and free live entertainment from 5 to 9:30 pm every Thursday through Sunday until December 22 along the seawall from Canada Place to Cardero Park.
Highlights include fire performances at the Grand Staircase, live opera and classical singing at Cardero Park, music and shadow puppetry inside Harbour Green Park, and more.

Guests can also ride a Ferris Wheel at the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza from Tuesday through Sunday. Rides are free on Tuesday courtesy of Downtown Vancouver BIA and $7 the rest of the week.
Taylor Swift fans are also invited to a Swiftcouver sign singalong on Friday, December 13, from 6 to 7:30 pm to help celebrate the superstar’s birthday.
