Looking for some extra cash this holiday season? Flair Airlines is hiring holiday helpers at Vancouver International Airport to help keep the busy travel season smooth and stress-free.
No prior experience is required for seasonal roles that involve helping customers with questions, assisting at baggage tagging stations, and spreading holiday cheer.
“The opportunity to gain valuable customer service experience while spreading festive positivity is a great one,” Flair’s director of communications, Kim Bowie, told Daily Hive.
The positions will be paid BC’s minimum wage of $17.40 per hour. But securing the job comes with a sweet perk: a free roundtrip flight on any of Flair’s routes for workers who show up to all their shifts between December 12 and January 6.
Flair flies across Canada and to select destinations in the US. The airline also flies to a growing number of sunny destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean.
The seasonal holiday roles are part-time, offering a maximum of 25 hours per week. The airline said it’s a great opportunity to make some cash over the Christmas season since those wish lists tend to add up.
Those looking to apply can submit their documents online. Flair asks potential candidates to have a great attitude, a willingness to help, and the ability to be on their feet for extended periods to help around the check-in area.
