Just months after it opened, Vancouver restaurant Seraphina has quietly closed its doors.
When Seraphina first opened, it branded itself as a “modern European restaurant.” It featured a menu put together by head chef Rory Byrne, who is known best for opening Claudio’s Ristorante as the head chef and as executive chef of Vivace on The Drive.
Located at 905 Dunsmuir Street, Vancouver, below the Vesper Lounge, Seraphina opened its doors in July 2024.
Now, just five months after it opened, it looks like the restaurant has quietly closed.
Seraphina has yet to make an announcement about the closure, but reservations are no longer available for the restaurant.
Additionally, signs for Seraphina have also been removed from the building, and workers outside the building confirmed to Dished that the space had closed but did not share what would be taking its place.
Dished has also reached out to Seraphina but has yet to receive a response.
While the restaurant is closed, the Vesper Lounge on the second floor is still open and accepting reservations online.
This isn’t the only Vancouver restaurant that has closed soon after opening. Kalamish, which opened in January 2024, closed in early October.
