A Vancouver strip club known for clever messages on its marquee (and, of course, hot girls) decided to wade into some Donald Trump-related political drama with its latest display.
The latest message at the Penthouse Nightclub, which has been shared on social media by a few folks and the strip club itself, reads, “Forever Neighbours, Never Neighbors.”

The caption on the X post reads, “U wish 🇨🇦 #51stState.”
If you’ve gotten this far and don’t get it, it’s the spelling of neighbours, which in Canada is spelled with a “U.” It all stems from Donald Trump’s controversial “plan” to make Canada the 51st American state. The man behind the sign at the Penthouse Nightclub is clearly not a fan of that idea.
The World Famous CFOX quoted the X post saying, “Say it again for the orange guy in the back!!!!!”
Another person suggested giving the sign guy another raise. “Always the best signs,” someone else responded.
A Vancouverite who shared a picture of the sign got additional responses, including one person suggesting that “Americans won’t get the joke.”
The sign guy at the Penthouse seems quite fearless and has tackled some pretty controversial topics for the sign. If you can believe it, the infamous Will Smith Oscars slap took place almost three years ago now, and the sign guy did not hesitate to use the incident at the Penthouse, albeit in a pretty careful way.
