This year was full of celebrity sightings at various Vancouver restaurants, and who can blame them? Especially when we have such an exciting food scene in the city.
Whether they were singers, actors, or just otherwise famous, Vancouver saw plenty of stars dining around the city. Some spots even got more celebrity love than others.
So if you’re looking to dine like the stars in 2025, look no further. Here’s your list of celebrity restaurant sightings in Vancouver that had us starstruck.
Actors Pedro Pascal and Joe Pantoliano dined at one of Vancouver’s best Italian spots (AKA one of Drake’s favourite restaurants).
The chef and owner Giuseppe “Pino” Posteraro of Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill in Yaletown shared photos of Pascal and Pantoliano.
Posteraro told Daily Hive the two dropped by and let him decide what they’d eat.
“They leave it in my hands and creativity,” he said.
This duo went on an epic food tour of the city, hitting up multiple spots, including Hapa Izakaya, Kissa Tanto, Lunch Lady, and Mum’s the Word (where Wong even had the chance to spin some tunes).
During American actor Owen Wilson’s visit to Vancouver, he seemed to enjoy everything the city had to offer.
He was spotted on a wholesome bike ride, taking in a hockey game, and indulging in some of the city’s best food, including Maizal, a Mexican restaurant in Vancouver.
Maizal shared a photo of the actor with two staff members on Sunday, along with the caption, “A pleasure to have Owen Wilson today at Maizal!! Big fans!”
“I’m excited — and I’ve been here before. I love Vancouver,” shared Danny Trejo in an Instagram video by Destination Vancouver, where the actor filmed an interview at a much-loved sushi spot, Tojo’s Restaurant.
When asked about his must-dos when he visits Vancouver, Trejo said it was exactly what he was doing during the interview — enjoying great food. It’s unclear what Trejo ended up ordering, but we know that whatever it was, he enjoyed it.
Phnom Penh Restaurant recently posted on Instagram a photo of Fast and Furious star Sung Kang visiting the restaurant.
“Han from The Fast & the Furious,” shared the restaurant with the photo.
The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey was been spotted dining at Mott 32 in Vancouver earlier this year, yet again.
The English actor, also known for their role in Game of Thrones, was at the location once again, a source close to the restaurant confirmed to Dished.
We’re told Ramsey was dining with Craig Mazin, co-creator, co-writer, and executive producer of The Last of Us, along with some friends.
It’s no secret that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in and around Vancouver earlier this year. The notable duo travelled to BC for the three-day Invictus Games’ One Year to Go event in both Vancouver and Whistler.
The royal couple was seen out dining on Valentine’s Day in beautiful Whistler, and they also visited one of Vancouver’s notable dining establishments shortly after.
The one and only Vikram Vij posted a photo with the A-listers, with a caption reading, “We were truly honoured to have Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dine with us at Vij’s last night.”
Vancouverite Seth Rogen can’t seem to get enough of the delicious food available in his hometown.
Maenam’s wine director, Kurtis Kolt, posted a selfie with the Hollywood star with the location listed as Maenam. This post was then shared by the restaurant on Instagram.
Rogen has been known to dine at some of Vancouver’s best spots. He’s been a big advocate for Lee’s Donuts and has given the donut shop shoutouts on multiple Netflix shows like Dinner Time Live with David Chang and Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Once again, Vancouverite Seth Rogen was spotted dining around Vancouver alongside SNL and Wicked star Bowen Yang and Hong Kong actor Tzi Ma at the much-loved Vietnamese eatery Lunch Lady.
An employee shared photos of the stars with staff on her Instagram story.
Tojo’s shared an Instagram post showing Bublé smiling at the restaurant with head chef Hidekazu Tojo and the rest of the team.
“Always a pleasure when our friend @michaelbuble stops by! His visits are always a highlight,” the post reads.
