Daniel Sprong didn’t last 10 games with the Vancouver Canucks, who have traded him to the Seattle Kraken.
The Canucks are receiving “future considerations” in return.

A free agent signing with a lot of promise, Sprong clearly wasn’t a favourite of head coach Rick Tocchet. Sprong started the season on the second line, alongside Elias Pettersson. He even scored a goal in his first game, too.
But Sprong’s defensive play was atrocious. He had a pair of gaffes in his first two games that led to goals against. By the third game of the season, he was a healthy scratch.
