The Vancouver Canucks have released their new Pride logo for this year, and it’s getting great reviews.
The team dropped the redesign of the orca logo on social media today. It’s designed by artist Dan Stein and has more than eight colours throughout the logo. All the colours represent the Pride flag, which reflects the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
There are also a lot of people visible inside the logo, many celebrating together. These represent the moments and community which happen at a Canucks game.
“When someone sees this year’s Vancouver Canucks Pride logo, I want them to see themselves,” said Stein. “I want them to feel included.”
The colours and connections of a community. ❤️🌈

The team will not wear this logo on any warmup jerseys, as the NHL banned specialty jerseys in June 2023. However, Vanbase offers a lot of merchandise with the logo for pre-order. You can get a T-shirt for $35, a hoodie for $75, a special puck for $20, and more.
Captain Quinn Hughes is the model for a lot of the gear on the website.
The team is celebrating Pride Night on December 12 when it hosts the Florida Panthers. Tickets to that game are still available, starting at $90. It’s one of many theme nights the club puts on throughout the season.
Fans on social media seemed to really like this year’s logo, as there were lots of positive comments under the team’s post.
