The typical gloomy and wet Vancouver weather has really been a damper. So, the expected sun in the forecast might be good news to those who feel blue as the cold weather settles in.
Last week was really something after Metro Vancouver was hit with two storms.
However, while the rain is expected to taper off by Monday evening and most of the week (excluding Thursday), a mix of sun and clouds could move into the region. A meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) warned that a serious temperature dip is expected this upcoming week.
During the day, temperatures are forecast to dip to a high of 5°C.
In the evenings, ECCC reports that we might have a night below zero towards the end of the week.
Meteorologist Brian Proctor suggested last week that as the temperature dips further, we could be headed towards potential snowfall.
