BC’s largest food truck competition returns to Metro Vancouver

Vancouver has an incredible food truck scene and it’s natural to wonder which one is the best of the best. That’s what the Food Truck Wars are all about.

The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival returns to Surrey for its fourth annual culinary showdown from April 11 to 13, with dozens of trucks competing for awards in multiple categories.

You can make your voice heard by eating delicious meals and voting for your favourites throughout the weekend.

New for this year is the Best New Food Award. Get ready to indulge in a variety of tasty chef creations that range from wacky, wild and weird.

Tickets are by donation, with partial proceeds being donated to the organization’s local charity partner.

Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival

Alongside plenty of great eats, the festival will have live stage performances featuring local artists, a kids’ zone, engaging activities, and an expanded local artisan market brought to you by BC Shop Local.

The festival is also teaming up with Event Pour Co. for an adult beverage garden featuring several local craft breweries.

Time: 3 to 9 pm (Friday), 11 am to 9 pm (Saturday), 11 am to 8 pm (Sunday)
