Jazz Aviation, an airline operator based in Halifax, offers several opportunities for Vancouver applicants. Jazz is hiring flight attendants, and according to Glassdoor, that role pays up to $63,000 a year.
Jazz is also looking for a pilot, which pays $66.25 per hour.
The flight attendant position offers a daily expense allowance, a guaranteed minimum of 10 days off per month, and a flexible schedule. It requires Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status, and applicants can’t be taller than 6’1″.
Another role offered by the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) pays up to $91,802 annually. The advisor, service delivery role would require applicants to coordinate priorities, issues, and action plans related to CATSA’s mandate.
Folks with a background in public administration, economics, or business administration are ideal applicants.
Roles in the airline industry are extremely varied, offering opportunities for folks from all backgrounds. Paladin Airport Security Services is looking for customer service facilitators, and the role pays up to $75,000 a year.
If you have a mechanical aptitude, Air Canada is hiring a ground support equipment technician. The position pays $38.35 per hour.
