What: Canadian rock gods Sum 41 are travelling the globe on their final tour, and Vancouver fans will get to sing along with them one more time in 2025.

The multi-platinum pop-punk outfit is coming to Rogers Arena on The Tour of the Setting Sum on Saturday, January 11, and they’re bringing some special guests.

What: The Vancouver Art Gallery presents Multiple Realities: Experimental Art in the Eastern Bloc, 1960s–1980s, a deep dive into the experimental art made in six Central Eastern European nations over three decades.

The interdisciplinary exhibition features works from nearly 100 artists questioning how, when, and where art could exist and uncovering its various meanings for society.

What: Lights at Lafarge, Metro Vancouver’s largest free outdoor winter lights display, is back for another holiday season.

The annual tradition illuminates Lafarge Lake in Coquitlam throughout the season, with over 100,000 twinkling lights to enjoy until the end of February. Guests of all ages can explore the outdoor display that wraps its way entirely around the lake, leading them on a 1.2 km loop through themed zones.

Broadway Across Canada

What: Beetlejuice is an eight-time Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical based on the hit Tim Burton film. Follow along as teenager Lydia Deetz meets a recently deceased couple as well as a demon with a penchant for stripes.

What: What’s better than one hot dog, you may ask? All-you-can-eat hot dogs, of course.

What: UBC Botanical Garden is hosting its third Lunar New Year Market on January 25 and 26, with an artisan market, live entertainment, and more to enjoy.

Visitors of the Lunar New Year Market will meet local makers, artists, crafters, and food trucks showcasing a variety of goods. Attendees can also enjoy a photo booth, take in lion dances and a kung fu performance by the UBC Kung Fu Club, and participate in workshops throughout the weekend.

What: Vancouver has an epic food truck scene, and a returning outdoor festival is here to prove it this month during Dine Out Vancouver.

Street Food City is back for its 13th year from January 24 to 26, with over a dozen delicious food trucks to discover at šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énk Square outside of the Vancouver Art Gallery.

The free event presented by the Vancouver Streetfood Society is always one of the most exciting parts of Dine Out Vancouver. This year’s lineup is shaping up to be a mouthwatering one.
