What: Vancouver Christmas Market is transforming Jack Poole Plaza into a huge German-style holiday event from November 13 to December 24.

A popular holiday tradition for locals and visitors alike, the Vancouver Christmas Market features more than 90 huts of authentic German sweets, treats, and treasures. Plus, there are many festive activities and live entertainment to enjoy.

The Book of Mormon/Broadway Across Canada

What: Heads up, art lovers! One of the city’s largest art celebrations is returning this month, and festivities are free to check out.

The 28th annual Eastside Culture Crawl is happening from November 14 to 17 in dozens of buildings across Vancouver’s eastside. More than 500 artists are expected to welcome tens of thousands of visitors to their studios.

What: The Vancouver Etsy Co. Holiday Pop-Up is coming to the Pipe Shop in North Van so you can start (or even finish) your gift shopping for the season.

This year’s annual Holiday Pop-Up Market from Vancouver Etsy Co. takes place on November 16 and 17 and features over 90 local makers, designers, creatives, and artists to shop. There will be mini-makers (kid entrepreneurs) on-site as well as DIY button making, STEM activities, and a photo booth. Fifty percent of the proceeds will go to support Baby-Go-Round and Make-A-Wish Canada.

Matty Matheson is coming to Calgary this fall

What: Attention, fans of The Bear! Legendary Canadian chef and star of the hit FX show Matty Matheson is set to pay a visit to Vancouver very soon.

Matheson, who is widely recognized for his star turn as Neil Fak in The Bear, will be making a stop in YVR as part of his latest book tour.

The acclaimed chef and best-selling author will visit SFU’s Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema on November 17 for an in-depth conversation with Global News Anchor Sophie Lui.
