Chinatown Storytelling Centre
What: Taste of Chinatown! festival has returned to Vancouver with an exciting lineup of food collaborations, culinary pop-ups, and more.
From now until February 2, foodies can head to Foo Hung Curios at the Chinatown Storytelling Centre for specialty products and Lunar New Year collaborations such as Justine Crawfart’s Floral Snake and Artbedo’s Bao Lion Dancing collections.

What: H Tasting Lounge’s enchanting winter patio is officially back in action, with its special heated Alpine-inspired domes decked out with cozy decor for the occasion
Each dome can accommodate up to six guests and is fully equipped with heaters and fresh-air circulation to keep things nice and cozy. Additionally, each dome has an independent sound system so you can enjoy your own tunes while dining.
When it comes to food, diners can expect many gourmet options. Think chili-caramel pork belly with fresh herb and togarashi sesame-cashew crunch and certified Angus beef tomahawks accompanied with red wine jus, confit fingerling potatoes, sauteed garlic mushrooms, and five-spice roasted root vegetables.

What: Arts Club Theatre Company presents Someone Like You, a millennial take on the classic Cyrano de Bergerac. City of Surrey
What: Help remove invasive plants and clean up litter at various parks in Surrey this winter. Tools and training will be provided, and all ages are welcome.
Nature Work Parties are drop-in, rain or shine, though events may be cancelled in high winds or extreme weather conditions. Participants are also asked to wear appropriate clothing for outdoor winter activities.

What: Foffy’s Wonderland, a globally touring pop-up, has taken over Lavenderland for an experience full of adventure and fantasy, running now until January 12. Visitors can expect dazzling light displays, family-friendly activities, and live performances, along with Richmond’s first-ever holiday market.
For every ticket sold, $0.50 will be donated to the Social Diversity for Children Foundation. Entry to Floffy’s Wonderland is also free for children aged 12 and under.
