A woman was found dead on the shores of Kelowna’s Okanagan Lake around 7 a.m. Friday, the RCMP says.
Police say they can confirm that the woman was 28 years old.
“No other details about her identity can be provided at this time,” said media relations officer Sgt. Judith Bertrand.
Mounties say the cause of death is unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
Bertrand says there is no reason to think there is any risk to the general public.
