Both Rogers Arena and Abbotsford Centre are holding Vancouver Canucks Stanley Cup Playoffs viewing parties, with tickets required.
But the arenas aren’t the only venues hosting watch parties, as many municipalities around the Lower Mainland are also getting in on the fun and hosting free viewing community viewing parties.
Abbotsford Centre
Abbotsford Centre announced Thursday it will be hosting watch parties for the playoff games with a live feed on the video board. The venue says tickets for Friday’s game are available for $10 apiece.

Rogers Arena
Rogers Arena is also hosting viewing parties for away games, with a live feed on the video board. Anyone hoping to get tickets for the next away game — Sunday, May 12 — is out of luck, however, as tickets are already sold out
City of Vancouver
The City of Vancouver hadn’t originally planned on hosting watch parties, but this has changed since the team made it to Round 2 of the playoffs.
An official city event will be held on Sunday, May 12, at Oak Meadows Park at Oak Street and West 37th Avenue. Alcohol is not permitted at the event, but dogs are welcome if they are well-behaved, leashed, and licensed.
There will also be viewing spaces at Roundhouse, Killarney, Kitsilano, False Creek, Creekside, and Kerrisdale Community Centres.
City of Delta
The City of Delta was the first municipality to announce it was hosting game viewing parties. The family-friendly events have been taking place at Social Heart Plaza at 11415 84 Avenue.
City of Port Coquitlam
The City of Port Coquitlam has been hosting viewing parties at Port Coquitlam Community Centre at 2150 Wilson Avenue. PoCo Mayor Brad West says city Hall will be lit up in Canucks colours during games.
City of New Westminster
The City of New Westminster says it will be hosting multiple viewing parties. Previous watch parties have taken place in the Moody Park Arena, the Queen’s Park Arena, the Queensborough Community Centre, and the Youth Centre (for 11 to 18 year-olds only).
The city is stepping it up for Game 2 Friday, with an event planned at the Anvil Centre.
City of North Vancouver
The City of North Vancouver is hosting a free family viewing party Friday for Game 2 at the Shipyards at 125 Victory Ship Way. The game will be aired on a 16-foot LED screen in the Shipyards Commons. Fans are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.
City of Burnaby
The City of Burnaby hosted a viewing party at Rosemary Brown Recreation Centre Wednesday for Game 1, and plans to continue with the events for each game of the series. The centre, located at 7789 18th Street, will be showing the games on large-format screens on the second floor.
City of Maple Ridge
The City of Maple Ridge will be hosting watch events for all Canucks playoff games at the Greg Moore Youth Centre at 11925 Haney Place. City Hall will be lit up in Canucks colours during playoff games.
