A goat is now in police custody after being found roaming around Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.
The Vancouver Police Department received several calls Friday evening after the animal was spotted running around near Broadway and St. Catherines Street.
When officers got to the area, they found the goat stuck in a thorn bush.
“Officers were able to free the goat from the bush and took it to the family farm of one of our officers, as there were no other places to take it,” Corp. Tania Visintin told 1130 NewsRadio.
It isn’t clear how the goat ended up wandering the streets of Vancouver.
The goat will remain at the farm until the BCSPCA can find its owner.
