Third Lynn Canyon rescue made in a week: NVFRS

There’s been another rescue in Lynn Canyon, the District of North Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services confirmed.

NVFRS crews were called out on Monday, just days after a man drowned and another intoxicated man had to be rescued after cliff-jumping in the same area.

Crews say some young people were making “bad decisions” while drinking by the water, even though alcohol is illegal at the park.

One of the people had to be rescued and was carried out by the rescue crew.

More to come.
