The Abbotsford Police Department says a 38-year-old man was injured in a shooting early Thursday morning.
AbbyPD says officers received reports of the shooting at a home on Topaz Avenue near Emerald Avenue just after 5 a.m.
Police say when they arrived they found a 38-year-old man with gunshot wounds and was taken to hospital.
In a statement, Const. Art Stele says initial investigations suggest that the shooting was targeted.
No arrests have been made. Police are now asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact AbbyPD by calling (604)-859-5225.
