RCMP says, there are lane closures in South Surrey because of a collision that disrupted a power line on Sunday.
Mounties say BC Hydro is on the scene, and Crescent Road is single-lane only between 132nd Street and 136th Street.
Police are asking the public to plan ahead, avoid the area, and use alternate routes.
“It is expected that single-lane traffic will remain in effect until 6:00 PM,” RCMP tells CityNews.
They say the collision resulted in “downed wires.”
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision, and police say impairment has been ruled out.
RCMP says the driver did not sustain any injuries and is not aware of any power outages.
