Richmond break-and-enter suspects arrested

Mounties in Richmond say two people have been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged break and enter at a home.

The RCMP says officers were called to the area of McMath Road just before 3 p.m. on July 20 for reports from a neighbour that they had seen two strangers walking in his neighbour’s gated yard.

When police arrived, they say they saw two suspects running from the area. One of the men was found a short time later, while the second was arrested with the help of police K9 units.

Each man is now facing one count of break and enter.

The RCMP is thanking the neighbour who called in the incident.
