Drivers on Highway 1 this morning may have been surprised to find some weekday-level traffic heading on to the Port Mann Bridge early Sunday morning.
A vehicle fire broke out into flames in the through lanes at midspan around 6:30 a.m., DriveBC confirmed in a post to social media.
The vehicle was extinguished and removed, but not before bringing traffic to a snarl.

The issue has been completely cleared.
