The Delta Police Department says it is investigating after shots were fired into an unoccupied vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence.
Police received reports of the incident, which took place in the area of Minster Drive East and Auburn Place in North Delta, around 3 a.m. Saturday.
Two men dressed in black clothing were seen leaving the area.
Police say they believe this was a targeted incident.
No injuries have been reported.
“Officers will be in the area for an extended period of time collecting evidence and conducting a door to door canvas,” the Delta Police Department said.
Anyone who may have cctv or dash cam video from the area between 2:30 and 3:10 a.m., or who have witnessed the event is asked to call the Delta Police Department at 604-940-7321 or email tips@deltapolice.ca.
