Vancouver Police Department officers are on scene in the downtown core Thursday morning after what they say was a “serious assault.”
The VPD says the victim was found at West Hastings and Richards streets, but investigators believe the assault took place elsewhere.
Const. Tania Visintin says no arrests have been made.
“The investigation is in its very early stages,” she said, adding more information will be released at a later time.
