Naomi Onotera’s husband pleads guilty to manslaughter: reports

The husband of Naomi Onotera has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and indignity to human remains, reports suggest.

According to multiple reports, Obnes Regis changed his plea in a New Westminster courtroom Friday morning.

Onotera went missing in the summer of 2021, which prompted a massive search for the mother and teacher-librarian.

Regis’ trial began on Monday.
