A man has been convicted of second-degree murder for the killing of a Delta man in Richmond more than seven years ago.
The RCMP was called to a commercial-industrial area on Fraserwood Way in March of 2017 after 52-year-old Allen William Skedden was found dead. Skedden had been reported missing since February that year.
In February of 2022, Adrianus Rosbergen was charged with Skedden’s murder.
In an update Thursday, the Lower Mainland’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) says Rosbergen has now been found guilty in the BC Supreme Court.
There’s no sentencing date set yet, but a second-degree murder conviction carries an automatic life sentence.
The court will decide how long it will be before he is eligible for parole.
