A portion of Lougheed Highway has been closed after a serious crash involving a motorcycle.
The intersection with Laity Street is shut down, with the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) called to the scene.
There is currently no estimated time of reopening.
Police are warning drivers to expect “significant delays” and to “plan accordingly.”
ICARS is responsible for forensic reconstruction of collisions that result in serious injury or death.
You can take Dewdney Trunk Road or River Road as alternate routes, however, heavy volume is expected.
