The Richmond RCMP says it’s investigating after the discovery of human remains on the shore of an industrial area north east of the Massey Tunnel Tuesday.
Mounties say they received a report around noon on July 22 of possible human remains found where Williams Road reaches the Fraser River.
When officers arrived, police confirmed they did find human remains.
The Richmond RCMP says it’s “working closely with the BC Coroners Service to identify the remains and determine the circumstances that led to their death.”
The investigation is in its early stages, but Mounties are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or visit
