“Students and staff are safe, and instruction continues,” School District 42 said in a social media post.
In an update just before 2 p.m., the district announced the measure had been lifted.
No other details were provided.
Pitt Meadows Elementary is located on Harris Road near 119 Avenue, while Davie Jones is situated on Blakely Road near 120 Avenue.
